Mumbo Jumbo: Tufts Mock Trial’s Annual Invitational Tournament
The Mumbo Jumbo Invitational is Tufts Mock Trial’s annual fall-semester tournament. Since its establishment in 2008, Mumbo has grown into a high caliber and competitive invitational which fields some of the highest ranked teams in the nation: the requirement to compete at Mumbo is a bid to ORCS, with 75% of the teams at Mumbo XII having competed at the past two National Championship Tournaments.

We are seeking practicing attorneys, law students, and former mock trial competitors and judges to volunteer as judges for the tournament. We encourage and welcome any judges across all legal backgrounds to sign up, and there is no experience or preparation necessary. If you would like to judge at Mumbo Jumbo XIII, please click the button above and fill out the form.
The 14th Annual Mumbo Jumbo will be a 2-2 tournament hosted (hopefully) in-person at Tufts University on the weekend of October 30th-31st, 2021. Please email tournament staff if you are interested in registering and have not yet received an invite. We will update all registered teams with additional guidance once we have a concrete decision from Tufts about whether or not the tournament can go through in person.
